Privacy Policy — Dedupe for Salesforce

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Key point

The Chrome extension “Dedupe for Salesforce” (also published as “Doublons pour Salesforce”) does not collect, store or transmit any personal data or Salesforce org data to any server operated by the publisher or by a third party. It has no backend: all duplicate analysis runs locally in your browser.

2. Data processed locally

To detect duplicates, the extension reads records from your Salesforce org (Accounts, Contacts, Leads) through the Salesforce API, using your existing Salesforce session (the “sid” session cookie of your org's Salesforce domain). This data stays in your browser's memory and local storage (chrome.storage.local: 24-hour result cache, settings, licence status). It never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by running a new scan or removing the extension.

3. Record merging

When you confirm a merge, the extension writes to your Salesforce org through the official API, under your own Salesforce identity and permissions. Before any merge, a JSON backup of the affected records is downloaded to your device; this file is not sent anywhere.

4. Licensing (Lemon Squeezy)

Activating and periodically revalidating a licence key calls the licence API of our provider Lemon Squeezy (api.lemonsqueezy.com) with your key and an activation identifier only. No Salesforce data is transmitted.

When you obtain a key (free or paid) on the Lemon Squeezy checkout page — outside the extension — Lemon Squeezy collects your email address, name and country to deliver and manage the licence. If you tick the newsletter box, your email is used for our product communications, and you can unsubscribe from any email. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.

5. What the extension does not do

6. Chrome Web Store compliance

The use of information received by this extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: data is used only to provide the duplicate detection and merge features requested by the user, is never transferred to third parties, and is never used for advertising or creditworthiness purposes.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

For any question or to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection) regarding licence data, contact bonjour@moncrmmanager.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL (cnil.fr). Data controller: Mon CRM Manager (moncrmmanager.fr), France.
